Refund Policy

Overview

This Refund Policy governs all purchases made for FilmKraft Academy programs — including the Offline Creator Program, Offline Express Program, and Studio Program.

Refund eligibility depends on the type of program, when the cancellation request is made, and whether sessions have already been attended or materials accessed. Please read the specific sections below for your program type.

Offline Creator Program Refunds

The following applies to the Offline Creator Program (₹9,999):

• More than 7 days before batch start: Full refund (less 5% processing fee).
• 3–7 days before batch start: 50% refund.
• Within 3 days of batch start or after commencement: No refund. Transfer option available.
• After 2 or more sessions attended: No refund. No transfer.

Offline Program Refunds

The following applies to the Offline Express Program (₹30,000):

• More than 15 days before program start: Full refund less ₹2,000 registration/admin fee.
• 8–14 days before program start: 60% refund of total fees paid.
• 4–7 days before program start: 30% refund of total fees paid.
• Within 3 days of program start or after commencement: No refund.

For the Offline Express Program, the registration fee component (if separately indicated) is non-refundable in all scenarios.

Studio Program Refunds

The Studio Program (₹1,50,000, 12 months, with placement guarantee) is FilmKraft Academy's flagship offline program and follows its own refund schedule, reflecting its longer duration and the placement commitment attached to it:

• More than 30 days before program start: Full refund less ₹5,000 registration/admin fee.
• 15–30 days before program start: 50% refund of total fees paid.
• Within 14 days of program start or after commencement: No refund of fees, other than as set out below.
• Unable to complete a project for reasons genuinely outside your control: A 50% fee refund may be offered, at FilmKraft Academy's discretion, as described in our FAQ.
• Unable to attend a batch after commencement: You may join a later batch at no extra cost, transfer your fee to another person, or apply for a full refund after 3 months from your enrolment date.

The Studio Program's placement guarantee is a commitment to train and mentor you until you secure a job in AI filmmaking; it is not itself a fee-refund mechanism. Full terms of the placement guarantee are set out in our Rules & Regulations.

Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be issued in the following circumstances, regardless of when the request is made:

• The student has attended one or more sessions and has not raised any concern within 24 hours of the first session.
• Digital materials, eBooks, resource packs, or prompt templates have been downloaded or accessed.
• Enrollment was made during a promotional or discounted offer period (unless the program is cancelled by FilmKraft Academy).
• The student was removed from the program due to violation of the Code of Conduct or Terms & Conditions.
• Absence from sessions due to personal reasons, work commitments, travel, or health issues.
• Dissatisfaction with AI tools or third-party platforms used in the program (as these are independent products).
• Change of mind after accessing the program content.

Program Transfer Policy

If you are unable to attend a batch you have enrolled in, you may request a one-time free transfer to the next available batch of the same program, subject to the following:

• Transfer request must be made at least 24 hours before the first session of your enrolled batch.
• Transfers are subject to seat availability in the next batch.
• Only one transfer is permitted per enrollment. A second transfer will be subject to an admin fee of ₹500.
• Transferred enrollment cannot be further refunded.
• Transfers are not available after sessions have commenced.

Cancellation by FilmKraft Academy

In the rare event that FilmKraft Academy cancels or postpones a program (due to insufficient enrolments, force majeure, or any other reason), enrolled students will be offered:

• A full refund of all fees paid, processed within 7–10 business days; or
• A free transfer to the next available batch of the same or equivalent program.

FilmKraft Academy will communicate any such cancellations with as much advance notice as possible via email and/or WhatsApp.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to refunds@filmkraftacademy.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Full Name] – [Program Name]"
2. Include your enrollment confirmation number, registered phone number, and reason for cancellation.
3. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate the eligibility and applicable refund amount.
4. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Refund requests made via phone, WhatsApp, or social media will not be processed. All requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved, processing times are as follows:

• Credit / Debit Cards: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank)
• UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
• Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): 3–5 business days
• EMI Plans: Subject to the terms of the respective lender

FilmKraft Academy is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors after the refund has been initiated from our end.

Free Bonuses & eBooks

Promotional bonuses including eBooks, prompt template packs, and resource guides are provided as complimentary additions to program enrolments. These are non-refundable and non-transferable.

In the event of a refund on the program, the student is required to delete and not retain any bonus digital materials received as part of that enrollment.

Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate your concern to our Grievance Officer at grievance@filmkraftacademy.com. We will review escalated cases within 10 business days and provide a final resolution.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
