Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Student", "User", or "you") and FilmKraft Academy ("Academy", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of all our services, including but not limited to online workshops, offline training programs, digital content, and related materials.

FilmKraft Academy is a division of Urja Media and Entertainment, operating under that entity for all commercial, legal, and operational purposes described in these Terms.

By completing registration, making a payment, or participating in any FilmKraft Academy program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

To enroll in FilmKraft Academy programs, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age. Students below 18 years require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Have access to a device with a stable internet connection for online programs.
• Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at its sole discretion.

Enrollment & Registration

Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and an official confirmation email from FilmKraft Academy. Submitting a registration form or making a partial payment does not guarantee a seat.

• You are responsible for providing correct contact details. FilmKraft Academy will not be liable for missed communications due to incorrect information.
• Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to defer, reschedule, or cancel a batch due to insufficient enrolments or unforeseen circumstances.
• In the event of a batch cancellation by FilmKraft Academy, enrolled students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available batch.

Programs & Curriculum

FilmKraft Academy offers a range of online and offline programs including, but not limited to:

• Offline Creator Program — Offline, 10 days (4 hours/day)
• Offline Express Program — Offline, 90 hours (flexible pace, 2–3 hours/day)
• Studio Program — Offline, 12 months, with placement guarantee

Curriculum content, tools covered, trainers, and session timings are subject to change without prior notice. FilmKraft Academy aims to keep content current with evolving industry standards and AI developments.

Access to recorded sessions, materials, and resources is subject to the terms specified at time of enrollment. Lifetime access is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in your enrollment agreement.

Code of Conduct

All students are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal without refund:

• Harassment, bullying, or abusive behaviour toward trainers, staff, or fellow students.
• Recording, distributing, or sharing any workshop content without prior written permission from FilmKraft Academy.
• Using workshop platforms, forums, or resources for spam, solicitation, or promotional activity.
• Impersonating another student, trainer, or Academy representative.
• Attempting to access systems, accounts, or content you are not authorised to access.
• Sharing login credentials or access links with third parties.

Intellectual Property

All content provided by FilmKraft Academy — including but not limited to videos, presentations, worksheets, eBooks, prompt templates, and live session recordings — is the exclusive intellectual property of FilmKraft Academy and its licensed contributors.

• You are granted a limited, non-transferable, personal licence to access and use course materials solely for your own learning.
• You may not reproduce, resell, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works from any Academy content without prior written consent.
• Student-created projects and films remain the intellectual property of the student. However, FilmKraft Academy may, with your consent, use such works for promotional and educational purposes.

Payments & Fees

All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Full payment is required to confirm enrollment.
• FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to revise program fees at any time. Fee changes will not affect confirmed enrollments.
• Promotional or early-bird pricing is valid only for the specified period and cannot be combined with other offers.
• EMI or instalment payment options, if offered, are subject to separate terms communicated at the time of purchase.

Online Learning

For online programs, you are responsible for ensuring:

• A stable internet connection and a compatible device.
• A quiet, distraction-free environment during live sessions.
• Timely attendance — late joins may miss portions of live instruction.

FilmKraft Academy is not liable for disruptions caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) or internet service failures on the student's end.

Access to online resources such as course portals, recorded sessions, and community groups is subject to availability and may be changed or discontinued with reasonable notice.

Offline / In-Person Training

For offline programs conducted at FilmKraft Academy premises or designated venues:

• Students must adhere to the venue's rules and regulations.
• FilmKraft Academy is not responsible for personal property loss or damage at the venue.
• Students must carry a valid ID and their enrollment confirmation at all times.
• Attendance is mandatory. Absence beyond permitted limits may affect certification eligibility.
• FilmKraft Academy may reschedule sessions due to public holidays, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

Certification

Certificates of Completion or Participation are issued subject to the following:

• Completion of the required attendance percentage (minimum 80% for most programs).
• Submission of any projects, assignments, or assessments as required.
• Settlement of all outstanding dues.

FilmKraft Academy certificates are institutional certificates and are not equivalent to formal university degrees or government-recognised qualifications, unless explicitly stated.

Limitation of Liability

FilmKraft Academy and its trainers, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
• Career outcomes, employment, or income results following completion of any program.
• Third-party tools, platforms, or software discussed or used during training — their functionality, pricing, or availability may change independently.
• Loss of data, content, or work due to technical failures on the student's device or network.

Our maximum liability in any event shall not exceed the total fees paid by the student for the specific program in question.

Termination

FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to terminate or suspend a student's access to any program or resource without refund if the student:

• Violates the Code of Conduct.
• Engages in fraudulent activity or misrepresentation.
• Shares access credentials or proprietary materials with unauthorised parties.
• Engages in behaviour that disrupts the learning environment or harms the Academy's reputation.

Amendments

FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage students to review this page periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
