Creating the Best Learning Environment These Rules & Regulations are designed to ensure FilmKraft Academy remains a focused, collaborative, and professional space where every student — regardless of background or experience — can learn and grow. All enrolled students are expected to abide by these rules.
01

General Rules

  • All students must treat fellow students, trainers, guest speakers, and Academy staff with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Discrimination of any kind — based on gender, religion, caste, region, language, disability, or sexual orientation — is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the program.
  • Students are expected to come prepared and committed to each session.
  • Any concerns or grievances must be raised through official channels — directly with the program coordinator or via email — and not aired publicly or on social media.
  • FilmKraft Academy reserves the right to update these rules at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes.
02

Attendance & Punctuality

Online Programs:

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 100% attendance across all live sessions to be eligible for certification.
  • Joining a session more than 15 minutes late may count as an absence for that session.
  • Missed sessions may be partially covered via recordings (where provided), but live participation is encouraged for the best learning outcomes.

Offline Programs:

  • A minimum of 95% attendance is required for certification.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be marked as a late entry and three late entries equal one absence.
  • Planned absences must be communicated to the program coordinator at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Students absent for 3 or more consecutive days without communication may be withdrawn from the program.
03

Online Session Rules

  • Students must join sessions from a quiet, distraction-free environment.
  • Camera should be kept ON during live sessions unless the trainer grants an exception.
  • Microphone must be muted when not speaking or asking questions.
  • Use of the chat function must be limited to course-relevant questions and responses.
  • Screen recording or recording of live sessions is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from FilmKraft Academy.
  • Students must not share session links, passwords, or access details with anyone outside the enrolled batch.
  • Virtual backgrounds should be professional or neutral. Inappropriate or offensive backgrounds are not permitted.
  • Students found to be simultaneously attending another class or working during a live session may be marked absent.
04

Offline / Venue Rules

  • Students must carry a valid photo ID and enrollment confirmation at all times at the venue.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or use of any illegal substances on premises is strictly prohibited.
  • Food and beverages are permitted only in designated areas.
  • Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their workspace and shared areas.
  • Mobile phones must be on silent mode during sessions. Calls should be taken outside the training room.
  • Students must comply with the fire safety and emergency procedures of the venue.
  • Visitors or guests are not permitted inside the training area without prior approval from the Academy management.
  • FilmKraft Academy's premises must be vacated by the designated end time unless special permission has been granted.
05

Content & Materials

  • All course materials — including slides, handouts, eBooks, prompt templates, and recordings — are the intellectual property of FilmKraft Academy.
  • Students may use materials for personal learning only. Sharing, reselling, uploading, or distributing materials to third parties is strictly prohibited.
  • Access to course materials is for the enrolled student only and must not be shared with others.
  • Students must not copy, plagiarise, or claim ownership of Academy-created content in their own work.
06

Equipment & Resources (Offline Programs)

  • Academy equipment, cameras, lighting, computers, and other resources are made available for educational use only, under trainer supervision.
  • Students are responsible for any damage caused to Academy equipment due to negligence or misuse.
  • Equipment must be returned to the designated storage area after each session.
  • Students must report any technical issues or damage to equipment immediately to the trainer or coordinator.
  • Personal equipment brought to the Academy is the student's own responsibility. FilmKraft Academy is not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
07

Projects & Assignments

  • All projects and assignments must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions may not be graded or may receive a reduced score.
  • Projects must be original work created during the program. Plagiarism or use of work not your own is grounds for disciplinary action.
  • Group projects require equal contribution from all members. Any issues regarding contribution must be reported to the trainer immediately.
  • FilmKraft Academy may, with the student's consent, showcase exceptional student work in promotional materials, showreels, or events.
  • Students must ensure any third-party content used in their projects (music, images, footage) is either original, licensed, or royalty-free.
08

Communication Guidelines

  • All official communication from FilmKraft Academy will be via registered email or designated WhatsApp groups.
  • Students must not directly contact trainers on personal phone numbers unless explicitly permitted.
  • WhatsApp groups are for course-related communication only. Sharing personal promotions, irrelevant content, or spam is not allowed.
  • Students are expected to respond to official communications within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Respectful language must be maintained across all communication platforms — email, WhatsApp, and in-person.
09

Social Media & Public Sharing

  • Students are welcome to share their learning journey, projects, and achievements on social media with appropriate tags and credits to FilmKraft Academy.
  • Session recordings, trainer presentations, and proprietary course materials must never be posted online or shared publicly.
  • Students must not make negative, misleading, or defamatory statements about FilmKraft Academy, its trainers, or fellow students on any public platform.
  • Any testimonial or public review must be honest and must not be influenced or solicited improperly.
  • Students who create content mentioning FilmKraft Academy must ensure it is accurate and respectful.
10

Dress Code (Offline Programs)

FilmKraft Academy does not enforce a formal uniform. However, students are expected to:

  • Dress in a neat, presentable manner appropriate for a professional learning environment.
  • Avoid clothing with offensive, obscene, or politically provocative content.
  • Wear appropriate footwear in all parts of the venue.

During production shoots or on-location training, students may be advised to wear specific attire for safety or operational reasons.

11

Disciplinary Action

Violations of these rules may result in the following actions, depending on the severity and nature of the offence:

  • Verbal or Written Warning — for minor first-time infractions.
  • Suspension from Sessions — for repeated or moderate violations.
  • Permanent Removal from the Program — without refund — for serious violations including harassment, content piracy, or fraud.
  • Legal Action — for violations involving intellectual property theft, data misuse, or criminal conduct.

The Academy's decision in disciplinary matters is final. Students may appeal in writing within 7 days of a disciplinary decision.

12

Safety & Wellbeing

  • FilmKraft Academy is committed to providing a safe environment free from harassment, bullying, and intimidation.
  • Any student who feels unsafe or uncomfortable must report their concern to the program coordinator immediately.
  • In case of a medical emergency on premises, students should immediately alert Academy staff.
  • Students with any health conditions that may require emergency attention are advised to inform the Academy management confidentially at the time of enrollment.
13

Studio Program — Placement Guarantee Terms

The Studio Program (₹1,50,000, 12 months) is offered with a placement guarantee. These terms apply only to students enrolled in the Studio Program and do not extend to any other FilmKraft Academy program.

  • FilmKraft Academy commits to training and mentoring each enrolled Studio Program student until they secure a job in AI filmmaking, provided the student meets attendance and project-completion requirements set out in these Rules and in the program curriculum.
  • A specific role, employer, or salary is not guaranteed — the guarantee is a commitment to ongoing training, mentorship, and placement support until suitable employment is secured.
  • If, after completing the full program in good standing, a suitable external placement has not been secured, FilmKraft Academy will offer the student an opportunity to work with its in-house production team or to teach at the Academy, so that the value of the fees paid is not lost.
  • The guarantee applies only where the student has completed all required coursework and projects, maintained satisfactory attendance, and complied with these Rules & Regulations and the Terms & Conditions throughout the program.
  • Students removed from the program for disciplinary reasons, or who withdraw before completion, are not eligible for the placement guarantee.
  • Fee-refund scenarios connected to the Studio Program (including partial refunds for valid non-completion) are governed separately by the Refund Policy and are not part of this placement guarantee.
